Focus Pointe Global (FPG), a leading national provider of marketing research data collection, today announced the acquisition of Trotta Associates, a California-based marketing research company.

Synergies include:

  • The addition of a third location in Southern California, expanding FPG’s national footprint to 19 research facilities nationwide - the largest Focus Group Facilities and Services Company in the U.S.
  • The acquisition provides a newly-built, state-of-the-art focus group facility in Los Angeles. FPG plans to transition their current LA location in Santa Monica to the new facility during the first quarter of 2018.
  • The combined company adds to the depth of a Management Team that claims an average of 20-plus years in the space.
  • Trotta’s database of research participants will add to FPG’s 1.6 million-member national QualPanel™, primarily in the Southern California market.

Following the acquisition, the management team will continue to be led by Focus Pointe Global’s Chief Executive Officer, Laura Livers.
