Philip C. Bergey, PhD, PCC, is pleased to announce a second year of teaching in a master’s program called Organizational Consulting and Executive Coaching at University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) in the Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics (MSOD) degree program. In addition, Dr. Bergey is offering expanded services including leadership facilitation and a new pilot project in concert with Shank’s Mare Outfitters, Coaching on the River.
Dr. Bergey, excited to begin his second year as part-time affiliated faculty at Penn, believes that staying abreast of the latest research and best practices is the key to coaching, both at the University of Pennsylvania and in the corporate world. His recent accolades from the leaders of an agency in Boston, where he facilitated their board retreat, attest to this fact. The agency’s CEO offered, "Dr. Bergey’s facilitation was perfect in the ways that he set the tone, moved the process and set boundaries, redirecting when needed. He created room for everyone."
Dr. Bergey’s goal with clients is to inspire them to make the most of their potential – personally and professionally – by discovering the client’s goals, challenging the client to seek solutions and strategies, and holding the client responsible and accountable along the way.
