Hawthorne Strategy Group Acquires Marj Halperin Consulting
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 01, 2017 -- Hawthorne Strategy Group is significantly expanding its reach and scope with the acquisition of Marj Halperin Consulting (MHC). The companies have officially integrated operations, with MHC founder Marj Halperin joining Hawthorne Strategy Group as executive vice president and partner.
The combined entity will operate under the name of Hawthorne Strategy Group, enhanced by the MHC team’s award-winning media relations, community outreach, and issues management experience.
Further expanding its experienced leadership team, Hawthorne welcomes Wendi Taylor Nations as executive vice president and partner. The former chief marketing officer for World Business Chicago brings her business strategy and media network to the team as executive vice president.

Halperin’s 30+ years of experience include journalism, marketing, public relations, non-profit management, government reform, and campaign management. She is also the Democratic analyst for the WGN-TV Morning News.
Nations’ marketing and public relations career includes her role as senior vice president and health and wellness practice group lead at FleishmanHillard Chicago, and as managing director for the Porter Novelli Chicago office, among other leadership positions.
