OnBoard Security Joins the Infineon Security Partner Network
WILMINGTON, Mass. (PRWEB) November 06, 2017 -- OnBoard Security™, a leader in securing the Internet of Things (IoT), announced today that it has joined the Infineon Security Partner Network (ISPN) to make industry-leading security readily available to the rapidly-growing number of connected devices and systems. The ISPN connects IoT manufacturers with OnBoard Security experts for connected and autonomous vehicle security, trusted computing middleware and quantum computing-resistant cryptography.
“We are pleased to announce OnBoard Security has joined the Infineon Security Partner Network (ISPN)” Joerg Borchert, Vice President of the Chip Card & Security Division, Infineon Technologies Americas. “With this partnership, we can continue to provide more secure and easy to integrate automotive safety applications for the growing vehicle to vehicle (V2V) and vehicle to infrastructure (V2I) field.”
OnBoard Security has adapted its Aerolink® vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications security software to work with Infineon’s Automotive Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and will support Infineon’s OPTIGA™ Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs) with its TrustSentinel TSS 2.0 middleware. OnBoard Security will also offer post quantum computing cryptography and digital signing solutions to Infineon’s customers.
“Infineon is one of the leading semiconductor manufacturers for the IoT industry,” said Peter Samson, President of OnBoard Security. “TrustSentinel will allow customers to easily implement trusted computing using Infineon’s OPTIMA TPMs and bring a higher level of trustworthiness to connected devices.”
