Imagine Math Students Donate Thousands to California Wildfire Fund
PROVO, Utah (PRWEB) November 06, 2017 -- Imagine Learning, developer of the award-winning Imagine Math digital curriculum, announced today that students across the country have raised $5,000 for the American Red Cross California Wildfire Relief Fund, five days after hearing about the funding opportunity.
During the donation period, students solved more than 1.1 million math problems and donated over 25 million earned math points, which translates to $5,000 for California Wildfire relief. This donation is a part of Imagine Learning's charitable giving program, which has raised over $530,000 for local and national charities since its inception.
"This fall, Imagine Math students across the nation have continually opened up their hearts to help communities in need," said Lisa Wise, manager of motivation at Imagine Learning. "Since the start of the school year, Imagine Math students have completed over 2.5 million math problems and donated over 50 million math points to the Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, and now the California Wildfire Relief funds. We are so proud of those students who have participated in this endeavor to help wildfire relief, but also the thousands of students who have embraced the charitable giving program throughout the years and turned their hard work into an act of giving and kindness.”
