Milwaukee, Wisconsin (PRWEB) November 02, 2017 -- FEI Behavioral Health, a social enterprise with a 35-year history and a leader in workforce resilience from EAP and organizational development to workplace violence prevention and crisis management, will present at an upcoming The Management Association (MRA) and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) event, “The Opioid Epidemic – Is your Workplace Prepared?”.
The presentation will take place in-person at MRA in Waukesha, WI and will be live streamed at MRA in Plymouth, MN, and via webinar format for participants.
FEI Senior Account Manager Randy Kratz will present an informative presentation, “The Opioid Epidemic: Leveraging an Employee Assistance Program (EAP),” on November 9, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. CST. The session will discuss factors that have fueled the epidemic of opioid addiction and discuss what employers, employees and their family members need to know to be healthy and safe.
Specifically, the session will identify signs of opiate abuse and discuss the EAP’s role in working with both employers and employees impacted by the opioid epidemic. Attendees will learn how to effectively use EAPs for self-referral and mandatory referrals, and explore trends in treatment, wellness and other proactive measures.
Kratz, MS, LCSW, LPC, is a senior account manager and consultant for FEI Behavioral Health. He is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed professional counselor in the State of Wisconsin and has worked as both a counselor and a supervisor in outpatient and hospital settings for over 15 years. He has been a workplace consultant for over 20 years providing employers and employees with assistance for stress and conflict management, organizational change, substance abuse and other organizational challenges affecting people. Kratz is an experienced adult educator and has presented at many conferences and workshops throughout the Midwest. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology.
