Legendary Creative Director to focus on Eponymous Fashion Line on WalterBaker.com

Innovation and fashion should not be about cost.

The internationally-renowned creative director, designer and “king of outerwear” Walter Baker relaunched his website, introducing several new and innovative features to consumers and influencers alike.

Baker has retained the services of a renowned digital agency to bring his new vision for the upcoming season of his Walter Baker brand to life.

Baker launched his first signature line in 1991, which can feel like an eternity in the fashion world. Unsurprisingly, brands like Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, Saks’ and Neiman Marcus look to him to fit the modern women, with his collections now a globally recognized and revered brand.

“Innovation and fashion should not be about cost. Cost can be prohibitive, while ideas are not. When I think of fashion, my vision is that the owners of my pieces move through their world looking fabulous and feeling their best without any limits,” said Mr. Baker.

Among its storied history, Walter Baker’s brands have been covered by VOGUE, InStyle, Marie Claire, Lucky, Cosmopolitan and more. Walter Baker has dressed Katy Perry, Rihanna, Blake Lively, and Taylor Swift, to name a few of the female superstars who covet his designs and keen eye for trends and timelessness.

On the decision to partner with a digital agency, Mr. Baker said, “Like technology, fashion moves faster than the speed of light. It made perfect sense to work with a partner who could innovate at the speed I’m comfortable with--supersonic.”
