Durable designs allow company to stand behind engines for both consumer and commercial use

Simply put, these engines are built to last and we wanted to stand behind them in a way that demonstrates our commitment to those who select KOHLER-powered equipment,” said Eric Hudak, marketing manager for KOHLER Engines.

KOHLER is proud to announce many of the company’s most popular ride-on mower engines are now backed by a three-year limited warranty for both consumer and commercial users. The newly-expanded warranty covers all twin-cylinder models within the Confidant, 7000 Series, 7500 Series, and 6600 Series of engines. The integration of commercial durability features into many of these models, including cast iron cylinder liners, enhanced cooling systems, full-pressure lubrication, and large-capacity air filters makes it possible for the company to stand behind its engines for the extended, three-year period.

“Simply put, these engines are built to last and we wanted to stand behind them in a way that demonstrates our commitment to those who select KOHLER-powered equipment,” said Eric Hudak, marketing manager for KOHLER Engines. “Owners of these engines have experienced tremendous reliability, which comes from our philosophy of designing commercial specifications into all of our engines, regardless of market. Both residential and commercial users of KOHLER-powered machines appreciate the peace-of-mind that comes with a three-year warranty – and we’re excited to deliver this promise to both groups.”

The new three-year warranty will go into effect on select KOHLER engines beginning with equipment retailed to end users after Nov. 1, 2017, regardless of engine manufacturing date.
