Hover Energy Announces Dr. Søren Hjort as Chief Aerodynamicist
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) November 03, 2017 -- Hover Energy, LLC (“Hover” or the “Company”) announced today that Dr. Søren Hjort will serve as Chief Aerodynamicist for the Company. Dr. Hjort is an aerodynamics specialist with more than 20 years of experience in wind power. He began his career as an Aerodynamic Engineer with Siemens Wind Power. He later served as a Senior Engineer for FloDesign Wind Turbine and as the Chief Engineer of WindNordic. He has evaluated and tested countless wind and flow technologies, and is a named inventor on numerous patents and the author of many scientific publications.
Dr. Hjort received both an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Aerodynamic Research from the Technical University of Denmark. He earned a post-graduate diploma in Aerodynamic Research at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Belgium, where he earned an Award of Excellence for Numerical Research.
