The purpose of my book is to provide caregivers with a self-help book/resource guide

When it comes to caregiving for a parent or spouse, often the caregiver sacrifices personal needs and hobbies in order to focus on what is necessary for the loved one in need of care. In Dr. Sena Whitaker’s second book, What Shall We Do with Mom, ($18.99, paperback, 9781545602478; $9.99, e-book, 9781545602485) the author details her own experience caring for her aging mother and the hard decisions that came along with ensuring her mother received the best long-term care, as well as the personal challenges she faced in caring for herself at the same time.
“The purpose of my book is to provide caregivers with a self-help book/resource guide to help them care for themselves while meeting the challenge of caring for those they love who are need of constant care. The book contains tips on “getting through the night”, reflections from my siblings, a gallery of color photos, God’s Promises and Prayers, and contact information for agencies that can be instrumental in assisting caregivers with caring for their loved ones,” states the author. “I also include a very extensive list of sources that are cited in my book for caregivers who desire additional information about caregiving.”
