OnBoard Security Engineer Receives Prestigious TCG Key Contributor Award
Wilmington, MA (PRWEB) November 09, 2017 -- The Trusted Computing Group (TCG) has awarded OnBoard Security Principal Software Engineer Michael Cox the 2017 Key Contributor Award. This award is presented in recognition of Cox’s longstanding contributions to the TCG, including his ongoing efforts in the TCG Software Stack (TSS) Working Group.
Cox has been a highly active member of the TCG TSS Work Group for the past 13 years, from his time with NTRU Cryptosystems and Security Innovation to the past year with OnBoard Security. Cox has extensive experience with the TSS from his work within TCG and with the development of Security Innovation’s TSS 1.2, which has been widely adopted.
In the last three years, Cox has worked in the TSS 2.0 Work Group to guide technical discussions, write TSS header files, and edited large portions of the TSS 2.0 standard along with other TCG members.
“Working across the industry and with fellow TCG members, Michael Cox has been a significant asset to the TSS Work Group, which is publishing the final TSS 2.0 Specification this month,” noted TCG marketing work group co-chair Thorsten Stremlau, SESM, CISSP, Lenovo U.S. “His deep knowledge of the TPM and TSS have resulted in major efficiency and functionality improvements to the TSS specification.”
