Regional Real Estate Franchisor Focuses Fundraising Efforts on Creating Inclusive Communities

Creating inclusive communities is what makes the places in which we work and live stronger, more enjoyable and simply better.

Engel & Völkers Florida announces its participation in the Spirit of Giving campaign to benefit the Special Olympics and its Play Unified initiative. Funds raised by the master license partner and its regional network will support the luxury real estate brand’s goal of raising $100,000 this year to support Special Olympics’ American and local chapter initiatives, education and healthcare programs. Since the company’s announcement at their 2015 Exchange event, they have raised more than $300,000 across North America and accumulated over 1000 volunteer hours for the organization.

“Engel & Völkers Florida is proud to be a part of the Spirit of Giving campaign,” said Timo Khammash, Managing Partner of Engel & Völkers Florida. “Creating inclusive communities is what makes the places in which we work and live stronger, more enjoyable and simply better.”

To support its efforts, Engel & Völkers Florida has encouraged each of its 26 Shops in the state of Florida to contribute monetary donations and host events in benefit of the cause. This is in addition to its ongoing, annual support of Special Olympics through donations at grand opening events and closings.

As a designated Spirit Partner, Engel & Völkers works yearlong to help empower those with intellectual disabilities through fundraising and awareness events. Through local fundraising events and initiatives, all money raised by Engel & Völkers supports the important work of Special Olympics in the Americas including local Special Olympics athletic and healthcare programs.
