Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 06, 2017 -- K. Warriors – KSF 31st US Open Martial Arts Challenge, highlighting how Zen Conscious Kung Fu Sanshou Fighters who have endured and passionately trained for years with grit become. The event is held on December 2nd, 2017 on the campus of Roswell Health Center, 11516 Woodstock Road, Roswell, GA 30075.
In search of the K. Warriors in the US, Shaolin World Federation is presenting the 31st US Open Martial Arts Fighting Challenge with theme event of “K Warriors”. Shaolin Institute will be hosting the event.
The first US Open was held at the Convention Center in Mobile, Alabama on May, 1994. Since its inception, Grandmaster Shi DeRu (Shawn X. Liu), has held over thirty US Open KungFu Sanshou/Sanda fighting events here in the US. Included are eight professional “Art of War” Sanshou/Sanda tournaments, sponsored by the Shaolin Institute and sanctioned by KSF (KungFu SanDa Federation a division of Shaolin World Federation).
“It has been 23 years since I hosted the first official US Open International Martial Arts Championship in the US, focusing on KungFu Sanshou Sports Fighting,” said Grandmaster DeRu. “As a result, great fighters, such as David Sanders, Patrick Barry, K.J. Noon and Cung Le, are among the ranks to have their fighting roots as champions at the US Open Martial Arts Fighting Challenge and US Open International Martial Arts Championships, held in Mobile, Alabama.”
All of those fighters have trained extensively on the Shaolin Institute campus of Mobile, New Orleans and Atlanta before launching their professional fighting careers on to UFC, an MMA pro fighting championship.
Other fighters, who have held championship titles at the US Open International Martial Arts Championships and Art of War Sanda pro “K. Superstar” theme events are UFC Fighter Melvin Guilard, World SanDa Champion fighter, Li Jie and World SanDa champion fighter Wael "Karika" Muhammed, all of whom have also trained under the tutelage of Master Shi DeRu, the chief master of Shaolin Institute.
All of these fighters have their fighting skills honed with the master and their Sanda/Sanshou competitive edges are matured at the US Open Martial Arts Championships.
The 31st US Open MA Challenge is about to kick off on December 2nd. The event committee director ChenXin has expressed that she was expecting to have many martial arts schools and enthusiasts from US and other countries to participate as competitors or just as spectators.
Here are the basic schedules:

The Day Event will have competitions such as forms, weapons and light contact as well as continuous sport sparring with limited youth KungFu Sanda. The night main event, also called the “K. Warriors,” is designed to search for the future Kungfu Sanshou competitors in the west.
This event will not only be an exhilarating KungFu fighting tournament for an audience to see, but also allows martial artists of all styles, amateur or future professional competitors, from all over the US to have the opportunity to express and challenge themselves to overcome their fears. Through the fighting experience they will mature their realistic fighting skills and acquire new friendships at the same time in a sportsmanlike manner.
"To empower yourself and find your greatest potential within, you must experience a test of challenges and obstacles with grit" said Grandmaster DeRu.
