The ETX-BBT-208V-240V-23.4A-2X0.75S from Larson Electronics is a 5.53 KVA rated, single-phase step-up explosion proof buck and boost transformer . This unit has a primary voltage of 208V AC, using a maximum of 26.6 amps on the primary side, and a secondary voltage of 240 providing up to 23.4 amps on the secondary side. Buck/boost transformers direct the majority of the load voltage directly through the transformer, which only transforms a small percentage. This means that this step-up transformer is built smaller and runs quieter, providing users with significant energy savings and environmental benefits.
The NEMA 4X-rated ETX-BBT-208V-240V-23.4A-2X0.75S is reliable, efficient, and offers critical equipment failure protection with additional protection from a power source that is isolated from the connected device. Cast aluminum housing with winding formed from high quality magnetic copper wire greatly improves this unit’s performance. A watertight gasket and specially coated cores helps prevent the ingress of moisture. This explosion proof unit also features terminal strips for connecting input/output wiring, is compatible with surface mount applications, and has a 180°C insulation with a 115°C temperature rise.
