Plamondon Hospitality Partners Makes Donation to Save the Children
FREDERICK, Md. (PRWEB) November 08, 2017 -- Plamondon Hospitality Partners announced today that it will be making a monetary donation to Save the Children, and is looking to community members and visitors for help.
Throughout the month of November, one dollar of every room night sold at each of its hotels, up to $5,000, will go to Save the Children. This money will support Save the Children’s hurricane relief efforts following the recent natural disasters in the United States. Plamondon Hospitality Partners has eight hotels throughout Frederick and Hagerstown, Md.; Grovetown, Ga.; and Altoona, Penn., and all properties will participate.
“Our family has always supported the mission of Save the Children,” said Peter Plamondon, co-president of Plamondon Hospitality Partners. “We were looking for a way to contribute and thought it would be fun to get our hotels and guests involved.”
Save the Children works to protect children in the United States and around the world. The global nonprofit provides children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm and is a leading responder following natural disasters. Save the Children relies solely on monetary donations to achieve its mission.
Save the Children supports many of the same values that are important to Plamondon Hospitality Partners—things like education, safety, family and community. So, when looking for an organization to support and partner with, Save the Children was a perfect fit.
