Corallo will be presenting at the 2017 Minneapolis Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) Conference, Nov. 8-9, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Corallo will speak at the session titled, “Intended Use vs. Indications for Use: How to Get your Regulatory Submission Right the First Time.” ‘Intended use’ and ‘indications for use’ are two terms that are often mistakenly treated as interchangeable. Her presentation will explain why the difference between the two matters from a regulatory perspective. Topics covered will include: what is the difference in terminology, why does product classification matter, and understanding the impact on design controls and quality measures.
