Mike Hail, CEO of datadecisions Group announced that Dino Fire has been promoted to President of Research and Analytics

Previously, Dino acted as the Chief Marketing Scientist for datadecisions Group. He has been in our research group since 1997. Prior to joining us he worked at Arbitron for 9 years.

Mr. Fire stated, “I am thrilled to engage in the total marketing solution arena. My perspective on the application of market research changed after gaining my MS in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University. Suddenly, the power of segmentation, discrete choice analysis and data fusion/linkage became very clear, as the findings from established traditional research applications can be applied in 21st-century ways. For example, the ability to target messaging to Millennials as a group is one thing, but the ability to target them by name is something else altogether.

We have found that we can add tremendous value by fusing data from multiple channels and sources, including surveys, government databases, and our own proprietary consumer databases. We can more easily identify target personas in the population, especially if we use tools like ensemble modeling to expand that sample into the population. Modeling drastically alters the marketing direction our clients might have taken in the absence of this rich data.”
