Website and technology provider believes in open standards for Google Analytics engagement events and goals defined by PCG.

Dealer Inspire, an industry leader in automotive websites, digital retailing, and consumer communication tools, has announced its full support for open standards in Google Analytics (GA) to document consumer events and conversion goals. Dealer Inspire joins the growing movement to empower auto dealers with accurate data to improve their marketing mix using the PCG Companies Specification for GA.

Dealer Inspire has been working closely with PCG Companies to natively integrate consumer engagement indicators in their website platform, chat software Conversations℠, and digital retailing platform Online Shopper℠. Consumer interactions on the Dealer Inspire platform will now be visible in Google Analytics using predefined event names and goals.

Joe Chura, Chief Executive Officer, will be representing Dealer Inspire at the upcoming Automotive Analytics & Attribution Summit (AAAS) in Boca Raton, November 8th and 9th. Joe will be sharing their insights into sales attribution models in his workshop entitled “Meet Roxanne: A Technology Breakthrough To Measure Attribution Through Events and Customer Intent.”

"PCG Companies has created a sustainable, open standard for Google Analytics," said Joe Chura. "Our company has built its reputation on supporting open standards and we believe that this effort will help all dealers and website providers improve website reporting. Our customers should be able to see trusted conversion and engagement data from all of their marketing campaigns in Google Analytics, if they wish to use that software platform."

PCG Companies created the public specification to allow automotive dealers to verify marketing reports and claims through Google Analytics, an independent reporting platform. The specification was published in 2016 and now has wide support in the automotive industry.

“Dealers do not always trust the reports that their technology partners provide,” said Brian Pasch, Founder of PCG Companies. “Dealer Inspire has always believed in transparent reporting to provide a high level of customer support. Today, they are demonstrating their willingness to be held accountable in Google Analytics as well. Dealer groups, with multiple website platforms, will now be able to see the performance of Dealer Inspire websites compared to their peers.”
