UR2.Global's 2017 Honorary Artist- 5-Time Grammy Winner Pablo Stennett Artist Challenge Entries Are In - With Songs and Spoken Word to Uplift the Self-Esteem of Humanity
Tallahassee, FL (PRWEB) November 08, 2017 -- As part of UR2.Global Arts Organization naming 5-Time Grammy Award winning musician, composer, writer, and producer Pablo Stennett as its 2017 Honorary Artist-in-Residence (HAR) to help the global not-for-profit uplift self-esteem, the HAR offered an artist challenge that is now available for viewing/listening. The artist challenge was to create lyrics or a spoken word utilizing Pablo's instrumental song "The Promise" that he graciously commissioned to the self-esteem project. One mandatory requirement for the project was to use the word "promise" in the title of the artist's creation. The challenge to use the word "promise" was a great feat for the artists and they were very creative in the ways they incorporated the word into building the self esteem of mankind. Especially now during a moment in history where there has been so much self-hatred and violence. "These artists challenge songs and spoken word entries help mankind look within and re-evaluate how we feel about ourselves as a people and individual," states Amelia Kemp, Ph.D, LMHC - a psychotherapist/singer-songwriter and President of The Sacrtherapy Institute's UR2.Global project.
One of the artist entries by "Ntriig" (Martin James) is a song calling to world leaders as he pours his heart out with "love" as a key ingredient to promoting a harmonious world. Another song by Emilia Earheart also identifies with the struggle that people feel and how the answers lie within. In fact, each entry uniquely underlines how building one's self-esteem requires self-love and courage which is echoed so beautifully in "The Promise" song by Jahmesia Jacobs; followed by more entries prescribing love and compassion by Dr. Jacquelynn Hairston - a public health expert, and another by LDK, Sr. who shares a spoken word about the goodness of what God promises. Then comes a heart-warming motivational piece by Dakotah Diamond that reminds mankind that we "can" change the parts of the world that need changing and accomplish our dreams no matter what. Her sentiments are reinforced by a spoken word by Lamarr Kemp, II, who offers a high energy outpouring of "promises" in what he calls "the promise to be...."
All of the artists that participated receive awards for their global community service to help humanity. The Artist Challenge Showcase is part of the UR2.Global Arts Project which is a psycho-spiritual arts project of The Sacretherapy Institute (pronounced sacred-therapy with a silent "d") with global liaisons on six continents. "UR2" means "you are too" an equal, valuable and worthy being that deserves to glorify in high self-esteem. The Founders believe that by increasing self-esteem - mankind finds inner-peace which then creates world peace.
Pablo Stennett's willingness to support the psycho-spiritual self-esteem mission has been most appreciated, states the founders who shared that "It has been a great match to have an Honorary Artist that understands the value of spirituality having grown up in the church himself, where his father was a pastor." To give a little background and recap, Pablo is a 5-Time Grammy Award recipient who began studying piano at the age of five and ultimately added bass, upright bass, and guitar to his arsenal of instruments. He tours globally with Ziggy Marley (son of Bob Marley). He has also worked with a multitude of superstar artists, including Willie Nelson, Jimmy Cliff, Chaka Khan, Pink, and Raphael Saadiq, to name a few, and has partnered with film studios, theater organizations, media organizations, corporations, and digital entertainment clients, including Sony.
Pablo's term as the Honorary Artist-in-Residence began March 20, 2017 - Feb 28, 2018. He stated earlier this year that he was attracted to the UR2.Global Self-Esteem project because “when your self-esteem is at a high vibration, and when you’re feeling positive beyond measure, you are unstoppable! Your positive energy radiates and transcends, causing a ripple effect that touches humanity in a way that can uplift the world! Music has a way of bringing people together, uplifting one another and creating positive vibes!"
The Sacretherapy Institute's UR2.Global Self-esteem Project features music therapies, psychodramas, visual arts, and literary arts of all genres for the upliftment of mankind and also reviews and showcases the works of popular artists who also inspire the world. The Sacretherapy Institute was created as a result of Dr. Kemp's book titled: From Psychotherapy to Sacretherapy which she also wrote to uplift humanity after having been a psychotherapist for 20 years. During which time, she was dismayed by the number of people in the world who feel like they are nothing, not understanding their innate value and worth. Therefore, with her also being a singer/songwriter she recalled how uplifting her use of music and psychodrama had been therapeutically, and decided to merge music with healing by performing and using the stage name: Dr. K's Music Therapy. As such, UR2.Global is the culmination of this merger with all the ARTS and the Institute's desire to uplift the self-esteem of humanity globally.
