Data Scientist Scott James to Present Findings on the Implications Of Course Withdrawals and the Relationship Between Online Course Taking and Student Retention

Hobsons, the global leader in education technology, today announced that Scott James, Data Scientist at Hobsons, will present at the 2017 National Symposium on Student Retention (NSSR) in Destin, Florida, on Wednesday, November 8 and Thursday, November 9. The event is sponsored by the Consortium for Student Retention Data Exchange (CSRDE), which requires that all papers pass rigorous peer review prior to being accepted for the symposium.

James and his distinguished peers will discuss the implications that course withdrawals have on students, academic advisors, faculty leaders, and future research conditions, as well as the primary factors that contribute to online student retention rates.
