LeasePlan USA and MapAnything Announce Partnership to Offer What’s Next in Telematics
ALPHARETTA, Ga. (PRWEB) November 08, 2017 -- Clients of LeasePlan USA can expect more from their telematics solution through a partnership with MapAnything. Under the service agreement, fleets will have access to MapAnything’s advanced telematics and field productivity solutions through their Salesforce.com integration. General Motors’ customers will realize an even larger benefit with MapAnything Live’s OnStar integration.
The strategic partnership with MapAnything is another example of how LeasePlan is leading fleets on the journey into the digital age. Not only will this partnership allow the client to be more efficient and drive down costs, it will also provide more integrated data capture, leading to next-generation fleet services.
“This is going to be the step in the direction of transforming vehicles as agents of productivity – it’s next level – empowering clients to get more from these assets,” said Ricardo Fonzaghi, chief commercial officer at LeasePlan USA. “MapAnything’s superior technology affirms they are the best partner to join us on our transformation journey. Whether their vehicles are used for selling, delivering or servicing, this partnership will make our clients more efficient and clearly give them a competitive advantage.”
“We developed MapAnything Live to drive productivity inside Salesforce.com. Historically, telematics was a back-office task focused on compliance, safety and cost. What we've done is bring that technology to the front-office to help our clients see or service more customers per day,” said John Stewart, MapAnything co-founder and CEO.
Stewart adds, “LeasePlan, with their innovative approach to fleet management, was the ideal partner for us. Their global footprint, and leadership position in fleet management are an ideal match for our technology. Our clients will now be able to deploy telematics in a way that transforms vehicles from cost centers to profit centers in their business.”
In addition to telematics services, LeasePlan will offer MapAnything’s electronic logging device (ELD) application for fleets that need to make the switch to comply with the December 2017 Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration mandate.
