InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit this idea, the Visor Buddy for Your Electronics, to applicable companies for their consideration.

An inventor from Cape Canaveral, Fla., has developed the VISOR BUDDY FOR YOUR ELECTRONICS, an aftermarket accessory that is applied to a smartphone or tablet computer to provide a shade from harsh sunlight and associated glare upon the touchscreens of such electronic devices. A working model prototype is available.

"I was inspired to create my invention because I am tired of being in the sun and not being able to clearly view my phone screen. I know others also find this frustrating," said the inventor. The VISOR BUDDY FOR YOUR ELECTRONICS protects a mobile device screen from annoying glares from the sun. It eliminates having to struggle or strain to see contents on the touchscreen. This will allow for easier reading and manipulation of the screen. This accessory provides a decorative element to mobile devices and is offered in various designs, styles, colors and sizes to accommodate all users.

The original design was submitted to the Orlando office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
