Space Saving, Lightweight Fitness Equipment Invented by Inventhelp Inventor (BSJ-413)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 09, 2017 -- While conventional exercise machines are effective for muscle development and rehabilitation, they require a dedicated area of floor space or a trip to a gym. Two inventors from Vale, Ore., however, have come up with a new piece of exercise equipment that can be used in almost any location at any time.
They developed a prototype for the patent-pending THE COUCH POTATO EXERCISER to help users target muscles in the arms, back, chest and shoulders for fitness or rehabilitation. At the same time, it provides a space-saving alternative to large pieces of fitness equipment since it is lightweight, portable and great for travel. Particularly beneficial for individuals recovering from shoulder injuries or surgeries, it provides a safer option than free weights, weight machines and other such fitness equipment. Other reasons for its appeal are its convenience, effectiveness and affordable price. In addition, it is durable, versatile and easy to use.
The personal experience of one of the inventors inspired the idea. "I fell 17 feet off a haystack and tore my bicep muscle off the bone," he said. "After rotator-cuff surgery, my shoulder was unusable for five months, and I needed rehab to strengthen the muscles again and regain range of motion. I found this invention to be the best way to accomplish those goals."
The original design was submitted to the Boise office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
