Jim Wickham, VP of Third Party Originations at Union Home Mortgage Corp. (UHM), was recently appointed President of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA). Wickham, a longstanding MMLA member, most-recently served as the MMLA’s vice president. An active member of the MMLA since 1996, Wickham’s mortgage expertise has fueled the association’s continual growth with the recent board directed strategic planning and execution.

In his acceptance speech, Wickham said, “Serving the association takes a commitment and like most commitments, requires a fair amount of both time and effort.  I would like to thank my Partners at Union Home [Mortgage] along with my family for all their support. I would not be able to participate in our great association to this degree without their support.”

Wickham, a United States Navy veteran, has been a fixture in the mortgage-banking community 1990. Wickham achieved his Master Certified Mortgage Banker designation in 2002, making him one of less than a dozen Master CMB’s in Michigan at the time of commencement.
