5th Annual Express Chiropractic Holiday Food Drive
KELLER, Texas (PRWEB) November 11, 2017 -- Dr. Daron Stegall and the team at Express Chiropractic are actively collecting food donations for the 5th Annual Express Chiropractic Children’s Foundation Food Drive. Through November 18, 2017, practice members and citizens of the community may bring their donations to any Express Chiropractic location for drop-off.
With the holiday season just around the corner, local food banks may face a shortage in their food supply. As a result, the Express Chiropractic & Wellness offices take the initiative to mobilize the community and collect donations to meet the increased demand.
Dr. Stegall, founder and COO of Express Chiropractic & Wellness states, “Express Chiropractic was founded with the purpose of creating a membership practice where people can get convenient and affordable maintenance chiropractic and massage care in a positive, healing environment." He went on to say, “However, we don’t limit our office to just providing chiropractic and massage care. The Express Chiropractic model was also developed to make a difference in the community and particularly as it relates to the health and well-being of children.”
Dr. Stegall is quick to position Express Chiropractic as a ‘Higher Purpose Practice’ concept, a term he uses to describe his long-term vision for his own corporate owned locations and chiropractor owned Express Chiropractic franchise locations. “A Higher Purpose Practice is one that makes a difference in the community by leveraging the income generated and practice member participation supporting the community,” he says.
Express Chiropractic will donate 100% of the food items collected to the Community Storehouse, a local North Fort Worth based charity that largely supports children and families in the community.
When asked about what the Community Storehouse has to say regarding the help Express Chiropractic & Wellness provides, Teresa Dreyer, a case manager, said, “Our organization could not service these families without the support in the community. We want to thank Express Chiropractic Children's Foundation for its support, both monetary and food donations during the Holiday season. The families we service during this time are so grateful for the help.”
To support the Express Chiropractic Food Drive, simply drop off food items at the Express Chiropractic Fort Worth, Frisco or Keller office.
The most common items needed by the Community Storehouse are the following:
• Cornbread Mix
• Instant Potatoes
• Canned Vegetables
• Canned Fruit (no sugar added)
• Dried Beans
• Mac and Cheese
• 2 lb Bags of Rice
• Soup
• Cake Mix
Express Chiropractic & Wellness recognizes that the success of the Food Drive heavily relies on people in the community and encourages everyone to participate.
