MBE magazine’s Third Annual “MBEs Who Rock!” Contest for 2017 Wraps
HENDERSON, N.V. (PRWEB) November 13, 2017 -- Another successful run for MBE magazine’s popular MBEs Who Rock! contest came to a close at this year’s National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) National Conference held at the Cobo Center in Detroit, MI.
This award honors minority business owners who have excelled in their industry and are also active in their community. 2017 winners are: David W. Morgan – Founder & CEO, DW Morgan Company; Farida Gibbs – CEO, Gibbs Hybrid; Jim Roberts – President, Jim Roberts Enterprises, LLC; Lauri Zessar – President, Bienali Promotions, LLC; Ray Grandoit – CEO & Owner, Ray Grand Apparel; Robin S Thorne – CEO, CTI; David Leeks – Business Manager, Entrepreneur; and Terri Quinton – CEO & President, Q2 Marketing Group LLC.
The 2017 Fall Issue MBEs Who Rock! cover subjects, Sylvester Hester – President & CEO, GAA Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management and Maurice Brewster – CEO, Mosaic Global Transportation, were also honored. Roger Cheng – Business Development, CB Technologies, Inc., known as the voice of both the MBEs Who Rock! and the WBEs Who Rock! programs, was presented with an honorary MBEs Who Rock! pin for his invaluable contribution to our events.
The magazine hosted a special reception on Saturday, October 20, 2017 at the Cobo Center to announce and honor the winners. Details about the winners will be available in the Winter 2018 edition of the MBE magazine.
