The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Caridad Rivera as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Caridad Rivera is a woman of many talents. She currently holds down three jobs, including Outreach Specialist at Fedcap; Manager at the Authors Book Club for Synergy Network Worldwide and Agent at Nitaka Oil Co. In each of these positions, Ms. Rivera uses her skills in administrative duties, communication and customer service as well as her expertise as a Spanish/English translator.
An Ordained Minister and Pastor and Certified Marriage Officiant, Ms. Rivera is currently studying at the University of Theology The Word, Inc., working toward her Doctorate in Theology and Christian Counseling. She is a graduate of the Spanish American Chaplain Association; took classes toward a B.A. in Psychology at Argosy Online University and obtained an Associate degree from Kingsborough Community College. Ms. Rivera also graduated from the Latin American Bible Institute of New York, Inc., and is certified from the American Association Christian Couselors.
Ms. Rivera is the Author of the self-published book, "The Life of a Christian" and contributed to the book "Let Hope Arise." She is a voluntary Professor of the Bible Institute and Professor at the University of Theology The Word, Inc. Although it can be challenging to communicate with so many different people at so many levels, Ms. Rivers said, “One of my greatest rewards is seeing my students graduate and surpass their studies.” One of her future professional career goals is to create an adult learning program for teens, adults and/or the elderly.
