Cullen and Dykman LLP is pleased to announce that Michael H. Traison has joined the firm as a Partner in its Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Department. Michael brings expertise relating to commercial litigation, as well as representation of debtors and of creditors’ committees in formal proceedings and in out-of-court workouts. In addition, Michael also represents clients with interests throughout the world with a special focus on Israel, Poland, the Czech Republic and elsewhere in Eastern Europe. Michael is admitted to the bars of New York, Michigan and Illinois. He will be based in the firm’s Wall Street office while also representing the firm and its clients in matters centered in the Midwest, including Chicago and Detroit.

Michael earned his J.D. from Michigan State University, his M.ED. from Wayne State University and his Ph.B. from Monteith College. Prior to entering the practice of law, Michael was a public school teacher for 15 years in Detroit, Michigan and in Essex County, Ontario.
