Advera Health Analytics Adds VigiBase Global Safety Data to its Evidex Drug Safety Analytics Platform
SANTA ROSA, Calif. (PRWEB) November 15, 2017 -- Advera Health Analytics, Inc., a leader in pharmacovigilance software, analytics, and data at the forefront of drug safety science today announced that the VigiBase database of global individual case safety reports will now be available through its Evidex drug safety analytics platform.
VigiBase aggregates reports of adverse drug events from 110 countries, accounting for 90% of the world’s population. Developed and maintained by the Uppsala Monitoring Centre in Sweden, the dataset contains over 15 million reports of suspected adverse events submitted by health professionals, patients, and pharmaceutical companies going back to 1968. Case reports are coded to MedDRA to enable timely and accurate analysis.
Advera Health’s Evidex data aggregation platform is a scalable, flexible, and agile way for pharmacovigilance professionals in the healthcare industry to access and analyze drug safety data.
