CBT Nuggets announces the release of a new online video training course, End-User Security Awareness.

The 26-video, entry-level course is designed to help end users be more aware of IT security risks and threats — and teach them how they can help prevent them. CBT Nuggets trainer Keith Barker covers topics including social engineering attacks, common password mistakes, two-factor authentications, and much more.

Having employees who are properly trained in regard to IT security basics can prevent organizations from sustaining losses in the event of an incident.

“A user may be the first or last line of defense against an attack, and is often the weakest link in security,” Barker said. “Improving security awareness can assist in preventing loss.”

An IT professional for nearly 30 years, Barker has a variety of IT security-related certifications, including Cisco CCIE Security, CompTIA Security+, and (ISC)2 CISSP.

End-User Security Awareness is available as part of a CBT Nuggets subscription. Subscriptions are available for individuals or teams, and can be paid monthly, semi-annually, or yearly.

About CBT Nuggets: CBT Nuggets provides on-demand IT training for individuals and teams that is available 24/7, from any device.
