Showpad Secures Top Marketing and Business Development Talent to Spearhead Global Growth Initiatives

Theresa ONeil and Gauri Chawla join sales enablement platform’s Chicago office as part of local and global marketing expansion in business development and sales.

Showpad, the world's most powerful sales enablement platform, has hired Theresa ONeil as Vice President of Marketing and Gauri Chawla as head of Business Development and Alliances. Both will join the company’s new Chicago office, which now serves as the company's North American headquarters.

Formerly of Chicago-based PowerReviews, ONeil joins Showpad with more than 20 years of experience in business-to-business software strategy, marketing, sales and business development. In her previous position, ONeil led the marketing team in creating and executing innovative programs to increase awareness and brand reputation, generate leads and support direct and indirect channels to grow revenue and profitability. Prior to PowerReviews, ONeil held positions at InRule Technology and IBM.

With more than 20 years of experience in global market and new business development, analytics-driven performance and alliance management, Chawla will focus on integrations, alliances and building out an agency eco-system at Showpad. In her most previous role at Marketo, Chawla helped grow the company’s marketing automation business through large partnerships with global system integrators, agencies and technology companies and quickly earned trust of sales leadership, account executives and partner teams. She’s also held executive positions at both Oracle and IBM.

This announcement comes on the heels of Showpad’s recent North American headquarters launch this October. Originally founded in Belgium and with offices throughout Europe and the Pacific Northwest, Showpad recently hired Jason Holmes, former COO and EVP at Marketo, to spearhead growth and expand its US presence to support rapid growth and demand globally.
