Xcalar, Inc. today announced a technology partnership with MapR Technologies to provide high I/O throughput and low-latency big data analytics.

Xcalar, Inc. today announced a technology partnership with MapR Technologies, Inc. that provides Xcalar’s patented True Data in Place™ technology together with MapR-XD architecture for high I/O throughput and low-latency access for big data analytics. Xcalar is a big data startup in modern business analytics, while MapR is a pioneer in delivering one platform for all data, across every cloud. This partnership enables breakthrough performance using a fraction of the memory that is typical of expensive pure in-memory systems.
