Cleveland Municipal Court uses ImageSoft's JusticeTech to create Digital Case Management Environment
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (PRWEB) November 16, 2017 -- ImageSoft, Inc., provider of the JusticeTech suite of paperless court solutions, today announced that Cleveland Municipal Court has implemented a digital caseflow management environment for new cases filed. Key to this electronic transformation is ImageSoft's JusticeTech workflow solution which leverages OnBase by Hyland and will seamlessly integrate with the Court's case management system. The solution was tailored to meet the complex needs of the Court to better serve constituents and staff.
The Cleveland Municipal Court's objective was to improve efficiency and lower costs by using digitized documents to drive court processes rather than using paper. The court system serves more than 500,000 people and handles up to 200,000 cases annually.
JusticeTech is an enterprise information platform for enabling courts to become paperless. It manages content, processes and cases. It also provides document management, an electronic casefile and court-configurable workflow technology. Unique to JusticeTech is its ability to integrate to the Court's existing case management system.
The Court staff estimates that costs per document page will be reduced from approximately 69 cents per page to 11 cents with the conversion to a paperless caseflow. The staff anticipates an annual cost savings to the court of $800,000. The new digital case management system enables data and documents to flow seamlessly into the JusticeTech Filing Review workflow, which is integrated with the Court's CMS and eFiling solution. Integration to the CMS eliminates manually keying data and enables the Court to process filings more quickly and accurately.

In addition to lowering costs and improving the caseflow process with JusticeTech, case files are no longer lost or misplaced and judges and other authorized users can access and review documents simultaneously from anywhere at any time.
