"On our 6 year journey to Accreditation we went from looking at teeth to allowing our creativity and artistry to bring our patients inner beauty to the surface", said Dr. Kling. "Their smiles are now a gateway to their authentic selves".

John D. Kling II, DDS of Old Town Alexandria, VA has been voted 'Best Dentist' for the 6th consecutive year by Northern Virginia Magazine. Dr. Kling is a well established cosmetic dentist who has been in practice for over 30 years. But what really sets Dr. Kling apart from his peers is -- There are only 20 dentists worldwide who have earned both their Accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) as well as their Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
A standard of excellence and his commitment to lifetime learning is not only Dr. Kling's passion but he truly redefines the term 'cosmetic dentist'. He completed more than 1,100 hours of dental continuing education in earning the distinguished ACG Mastership and then tackled the arduous journey of Accreditation with the AACD. "The path to Accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry is a rigorous one traveled by very few dentists", explained Dr. Kling. "My team and I had life changing experiences during our 6 year journey to Accreditation". Sarah, one of Dr. Kling's assistants who worked alongside Dr. Kling throughout the Accreditation process said, "The AACD Accreditation process is unlike anything else in this field--there is a true standard of 'perfection'--a process that must be followed which delivers both beautiful and natural looking results". One patient recently said, "The treatment I received was outstanding -- friendly, kind, courteous, without peer. I am completely happy and satisfied with everything he did to make me comfortable speaking and smiling again". Dr. Kling is one of 384 dentists worldwide who has earned an Accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. John Kling II, DDS is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine. He did his residency at Buffalo General Hospital before practicing in Alexandria, VA. Further course work was completed by Dr. Kling at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and the LSU School of Dentistry Academy of Continuing Education.
Dr. Kling recently sponsored the 'Walk to End Alzheimer's' in Washington DC and is a volunteer dentist for the AACD 'Give Back a Smile' program in which dentists volunteer their time to repair the smiles of those affected by domestic violence and abuse.
