SAE Institute Nashville Introduces Bachelor’s Degree Program in Audio
NASHVILLE (PRWEB) November 15, 2017 -- SAE Institute, a global leader in creative media education, is pleased to announce the January launch of a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Audio at its Nashville campus. This new Audio Bachelor’s program includes advanced-level courses in audio post production, live sound and lighting, studio maintenance, and more.
The addition of this program rounds out the progression of SAE Institute Nashville’s revitalized audio curriculum, which includes a diploma, an Associate Degree, and the new Bachelor’s Degree. Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), SAE Institute’s audio programs are designed to train students in practical, real world scenarios under the guidance of industry-experienced professionals in order to prepare for entry-level careers in the audio industry.
“We are very excited to have received approval for the Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Audio and to offer this advanced credential to our students,” says Michael Bottrill, President and General Manager of SAE Institute North America. “Students will learn both the technical and creative components of audio design as well as core business principles to help them succeed in the entertainment industry.”
Graduates of SAE Institute’s Associate Degree programs in audio are eligible to transfer earned credits and enroll in the Bachelor’s Degree program, which they can then complete in as few as 16 months. To provide financial assistance, SAE Institute has established the Advancement Scholarship exclusively for alumni wishing to start in January, which will pay up to $4,000 towards program tuition.
