Each of us experiences trials and struggles in life -- none of us are immune. Hopefully, each of us had someone to help us through our difficulties. With that help, though, comes the desire to lend one’s own hand to others in need.

Huntsman | Lofgran, PLLC is hosting a shoe drive for Soles4Souls, a nonprofit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing. New or gently worn pairs of shoes can be dropped off at Huntsman | Lofgran at 623 E. Fort Union Boulevard, Suite 201, Salt Lake City, UT 84047.

“Each of us experiences trials and struggles in life -- none of us are immune. Hopefully, each of us had someone to help us through our difficulties. With that help, though, comes the desire to lend one’s own hand to others in need,” said Diana J. Huntsman, a partner at Huntsman | Lofgran, and a divorce mediator with Divorce Mediation Institute of Utah, LLC, a mediation company that office shares with Huntsman | Lofgran, PLLC.

Attorney Michael R. Lofgran added, “Our firm has chosen to reach out by supporting Soles4Souls, a solid charity that provides real-world help to those suffering from severe poverty. We look forward to conducting this drive and hope many of you will contribute.”

Soles4Souls aims to eradicate extreme poverty by 2050. Children every day are prevented from attending school and adults are unable to work as walking becomes unbearable, which perpetuates the cycle of poverty. To date, Soles4Souls has collected and distributed more than 30 million pairs of shoes to those in need in 127 countries around the world and all 50 states in the U.S.

“Shoes collected by businesses and individuals enable people in need around the world to lift themselves and their families out of poverty,” said Buddy Teaster, President and CEO of Soles4Souls. “With the help of businesses and individuals that host donation drives, we can provide a life-changing solution: a good pair of shoes.”
