Smart Business Recognizes Modern Transportation’s Cozzens
Pittsburgh, PA. (PRWEB) November 16, 2017 -- On November 9th, Patrick Cozzens, President of Modern Transportation, was honored by Smart Business Pittsburgh as one of the Smart 50 of the greater Pittsburgh area. The 2017 Smart 50 Awards, presented by Arthur J. Gallagher, recognizes the top executives of the 50 smartest companies in the region for their ability to effectively build and lead successful organizations.
Recognized for leading Modern’s uncompromising commitment to safety and the environment, Cozzens’ leadership was celebrated during a gala held at the Fairmont Pittsburgh Hotel. “I wish to thank Smart Business Pittsburgh and Arthur J. Recently, Modern Transportation completed the installation of Lytx DriveCam® Event Recorders in all of their tractors. These inward-facing and outward-facing cameras present Modern with the ability to reinforce excellent driving behavior, while coaching driving behaviors that occasionally may present opportunities for improvement. According to Cozzens, “Our drivers are completely committed to safety. With few exceptions, each has embraced this next generation of safety technology.”
In addition to the gala, each of the Smart 50 Award recipients was featured in a special editorial report in the November edition of Smart Business Pittsburgh. “As I viewed the pictures of all Smart 50 Award recipients on the cover of November’s edition, I was humbled by the collective accomplishments of that team of honorees”, shared Cozzens.
