Attorney David C. Hamel Commemorates 5th Anniversary as a Legal Professional
Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) November 15, 2017 -- David C. Hamel, a criminal defense attorney and former Marine who served a tour of duty in Iraq, is celebrating his fifth anniversary. “It’s a blessing to be able to practice in the way I feel is right by clients, and to see many of them move on and past their legal hurdles is a great reminder of why I chose to hang my own shingle,” said Hamel, who graduated from the prestigious Trial Lawyer’s College two years ago.
The Trial Lawyer’s College is dedicated to training and educating lawyers and judges who are committed to the jury system and to representing and obtaining justice for the poor, the injured, the forgotten, the voiceless and the defenseless. There are less than 2,000 Trial Lawyer’s College graduates in the United States.
“Your classmates and teachers are some of the best trial lawyers in the U.S,” noted Hamel. “You can only get better by being there. Frankly, you come out of it a better person as well. It’s about being the most honest and real person you can be and conveying that in front of a jury, and that converts into being a better trial lawyer.”
Additionally, Hamel was recently named, for the second consecutive year, to the Top 40 under 40 list by the National Trial Lawyers. Membership is extended solely to the select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile. He was also recently voted onto the Trial Lawyers College Alumni Board as the regional representative covering Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
