“The key theme I presented to the students is something I speak about quite often: the symbiotic embodiment of the leader and team members’ success considerations … jointly unified in coordination with enterprise mission objective and attainment."

Award-winning, elite, global professional services firm Brooks International (http://brooksint.com) is pleased to announce its Chief Executive Officer Lui Damasceno has accepted an invitation to join The Gerald P. Buccino ’63 Center for Leadership Development Honors Program Advisory Council at Seton Hall University as an advisor.

“I’m honored and humbled to join the advisory council and look forward to taking the honors program and Seton Hall business honors students to an even higher level of performance excellence,” said Mr. Damasceno, an accomplished leader and experienced management consultant and business development expert, who has been at Brooks International for more than 33 years.

Mr. Damasceno recently addressed 40 future business leaders from Seton Hall University’s Leadership Development Honors Program, presenting the Brooks International view on mission-driven leadership.

“The key theme I presented to the students is something I speak about quite often: the symbiotic embodiment of the leader and team members’ success considerations … jointly unified in coordination with enterprise mission objective and attainment,” said Mr. Damasceno. “This mission-driven leadership is in perfect harmony with our Execution Excellence model that we employ on all of our client engagements. When leadership influence is applied effectively, behaviorally based transformational outcomes are made possible,” he added.

The Leadership Development Honors Program at Seton Hall University, located in South Orange, N.J., prepares students to become global leaders through a rigorous program of diverse experiential and academic learning that allows them to stretch themselves to achieve their fullest potential in their professional and personal lives. Students receive executive mentoring and coaching, with a leadership code of conduct defining the principles and values by which all members live and focus, providing an environment and culture of performance excellence.

The four-year program delivers self-confidence and shapes students' global perspective and understanding of ideas and trends, their critical thinking and ability to address complex issues, their ability to see issues and problems through different lenses to understand their possibilities, their focus on results, and their ability to lead and work effectively with people across organizational boundaries.
