...the contracting process is one of the biggest value leaks in sourcing. We are thrilled to be coming back to New York for another immersion course with Morgan Lewis.
NEW YORK (PRWEB) November 17, 2017
SIG, the premier membership organization for sourcing, procurement and outsourcing executives, today announced the return of the Executive Immersion Program (EIP) to New York City, where the program was initially launched.
The SIG Executive Immersion Program (EIP) will take place on Thursday December 14 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and offers intensive workshops in contract negotiation and contract construction focusing specifically on some of the issues related to RPA and AI. Hosted and facilitated by Morgan Lewis, this event allows attendees to gather expert thought leadership and also provides a platform for networking with local colleagues. The agenda is focused on information technology–enabled transformation as well as customer and vendor outsourcing deal management and outlines best practices to maximize business value across hardware, software, cloud, network, outsourcing and integrated solutions sourcing.
“We suggested this topic because there is a basic misunderstanding of how to use the contract,” said Ed Hansen, Partner at Morgan Lewis. “In fact, the contracting process is one of the biggest value leaks in sourcing." "We are thrilled to be coming back to New York for another immersion course with Morgan Lewis," adds Dawn Tiura, SIG CEO and President. "The participation and interaction at the last EIP clearly demonstrated the importance of this kind of training and we could not have a better partner.”
The day will also include a case study on the convergence of BPO and robotics. This afternoon session is designed to apply concepts learned in the morning workshop by examining RPA as part of a BPO solution and will explore how shifting technology paradigms affect the BPO value proposition.
The SIG Executive Immersion Program is designed for real-world situations at executive decision-making levels. Future workshops include training on risk management, talent management, vendor management and other top-of-mind issues facing sourcing, outsourcing and procurement executives today.
