Celebrating life with a Cena

“Very little is needed to make a life happy.” --Marcus Aurelius, 121-180 A.D.

Ancient Dinners is hosting its new heritage celebratory event, from 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Aperto Restaurant in Washington DC with two renowned speakers: Award-winning author, chef, food historian, and Mediterranean Diet advocate Amy Riolo and celebrity Chef/Restaurateur, Owner of Aperto and Al Tiramisu, Sommelier, and Culinary Ambassador of Basilicata Luigi Diotaiuti.

Named “the next big thing” in the culinary world by Elle Spain, acclaimed duo Amy Riolo and Luigi Diotaiuti are known for telling the whole story behind food and reclaiming culinary traditions on the brink of extinction. On December 5th they will recreate an ancient Roman feast that is perfectly suited to today’s palates and upholds the tenants of the Mediterranean Diet at Chef Luigi’s new restaurant, Aperto.
