Durham, NC (PRWEB) November 16, 2017 -- The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin recently named two new shareholders of the law firm. Personal Injury Attorney Anabel Rosa and Workers’ Compensation Attorney Ryan Bliss were named shareholders of the 20-year old law firm on October 13, 2017.

Personal Injury Attorney Anabel Rosa
Rosa has practiced law for more than 20 years and has been with the law firm since 2010. A native of Puerto Rico, much of her work on and off the job involves helping North Carolina’s Hispanic/Latino community.
The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin places great emphasis on North Carolina’s roughly 1 million Hispanic/Latino residents and has more than 40 bilingual staff and a Latino Affairs Committee, which Rosa helped spearhead.
Having appeared on El Centro Hispano, Univision 40, WRAL, and quoted in several Spanish publications, Rosa has often been sought by the Hispanic media for her views and comments on related issues.
She currently serves as chair to the City of Durham’s Mayor’s Hispanic/Latino Committee, and has helped organize several pro bono immigration clinics. As a task force member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ) Diversity Committee, she has been a driving force of NCAJ’s immigration division and efforts to help Hispanics and Latinos update legal documents pro bono.
Rosa has participated in the Partnership for a Healthy Durham, a collaborative network of healthcare professionals who promote health and medical treatment options throughout the Hispanic/Latino community. She is a friend and supporter of Real Durham, an anti-poverty program targeting the East Durham Economic Development Zone, which has a large Hispanic/Latino population.
Workers’ Compensation Attorney Ryan Bliss
Ryan Bliss is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation law. Of the more than 28,000 NC licensed attorneys only 4%* are Board Certified Specialists. He recently received the 2018 “NC Super Lawyers Magazine” ‘Rising Star’** designation in the area of Workers’ Compensation law. Bliss has been practicing law since 2008 and has been with the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin as a plaintiff’s attorney since 2012. Before becoming a plaintiff’s attorney, he worked as a defense attorney and soon after decided that it wasn’t for him. "Representing faceless companies with lots of red tape was not the reason I became a lawyer. I find it much more rewarding to work on the plaintiff’s side – for the injured worker."
