(PRWEB) November 21, 2017 -- Residential Assisted Living National Association was announced during the Inagural RAL National Convention 2017. With over 30,000 residential assisted living and memory care homes in the US already and the need for quality senior housing and care growing exponentially for the next 20 years, the Residential Assisted Living National Association was announced on Saturday November the 11th at the 1st Annual Residential Assisted Living Convention held in Scottsdale Arizona.
Chapters are forming across the US for the RAL National Association now with the goal of bringing the RAL industry together and providing representation in this growing industry on a national level. Residential Assisted Living Homes for the elderly are an important part of the senior care solution. Unlike large, institutional, “apartment like” assisted living facilities, RAL Homes provide an actual “home” for seniors. The RAL National Association will provide its members with national marketing, lobbying, representation and group purchasing power.
Industry leader, Gene Guarino, the founder of the Residential Assisted Living Academy made the announcement along with Loe Hornbuckle of Dallas. Both are owners and operators of RAL memory care and assisted living homes.
“There was a glaring need for Residential Assisted Living Homes for the elderly to be represented at the Local, State and National level through a united front. Our local and state governments are being informed and influenced by the big box style facilities and they simply do not understand and support what RAL homes provide for the community. They see us as the competition instead of as a partner in providing a high quality solution for the elderly. By forming the RAL National Association we will have the ability to educate leaders and decision makers in communities on the local, state and national level. Our mission is to bring the RAL industry together by supporting their efforts through national advertising, group buying power, and professional education” said Gene Guarino
