Hobsons Announces New Users Conference, Bringing K-12 and Higher Education Clients Together for Hobsons Summer Institute 2018
ARLINGTON, Va. (PRWEB) November 16, 2017 -- Education technology leader Hobsons today announced a new users conference, which will bring together K-12 and higher education partners under one roof for Hobsons Summer Institute 2018. The conference, previously separated into two events, will welcome users of Hobsons’ Naviance, Intersect, and Starfish products, which focus on helping students succeed at every stage in their education, from middle school through college.
The event, scheduled for July 2018 in Palm Desert, California, will welcome K-12 educators and administrators, college admissions counselors, deans, provosts, and student success professionals from across the country to network, collaborate, and better understand how technology can improve a student’s educational journey. The conference will include presentations by expert customers, product trainings and insights delivered by Hobsons’ executives, special events, and the annual Hobsons Education Advances Awards presentation.
“For more than a decade, Hobsons has hosted two events, Naviance Summer Institute for our K-12 partners and Hobsons University for our higher education partners. We are proud to be able to blend these two events together for the first time, to gather the best minds in education all under one roof,” said Kate Cassino, CEO of Hobsons. “Attendees will experience the same high-quality content they’ve come to expect from our summer events, and will have the opportunity to network with their K-12 or higher education counterparts who use our award-winning solutions to help students succeed.”
Attendees at Hobsons Summer Institute 2018 will also hear from two keynote speakers: Former White House Fellow and The New York Times bestselling author Wes Moore, who embraced education as his ticket to success, as well as Sara Goldrick-Rab, Ph.D., sociologist and professor of higher education policy and sociology at Temple University, who has advocated for state and federal legislation to lower the price of college and is one of the architects of President Barack Obama’s free college proposal.
The conference will take place July 16-18, 2018. Early registration is now open to users of Naviance, Intersect, or Starfish. To learn more about Hobsons Summer Institute 2018 visit: https://www.hobsonssummerinstitute.com/.
