Brain Injury Association Hosts Third Annual Bowling for Brain Injury in Portland
PORTLAND, Maine (PRWEB) November 18, 2017 -- For the third year, the Brain Injury Association of America – Maine Chapter (BIAA – ME) is hosting its Bowling for Brain Injury event in Portland, Maine on December 3, 2017. Bowling for Brain Injury is the signature fundraising event for the Brain Injury Association.

BIAA – ME History
Founded in 1980, the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) is the country’s oldest and largest nationwide brain injury advocacy organization. BIAA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) service organization dedicated to reducing the incidence and impact of brain injury through education, advocacy, support, and prevention and by facilitating inter-agency commitment and collaboration. BIAA established its Maine Chapter in 2013 to address the needs of individuals with brain injury and their families who live in Maine. Donations raised through Bowling for Brain Injury stay in Maine to educate and assist persons with brain injuries, their family and caregivers, and the professionals who work with them.
