We saw a huge opportunity to harness technology for good and to increase global access to the communication, storage, and exchange services many of us take for granted.

RightMesh is a mobile mesh networking business on a global mission to bring connectivity – and all its associated social and economic benefits – to the next billion people. Using a proprietary SDK, blockchain technology and its own ERC20 token (MESH), RightMesh is creating a platform and protocol which allows and motivates users to share excess smartphone and IoT resources and to connect directly to each other.
Despite the UN declaring connectivity a basic human right, almost 4 billion people worldwide survive without it, mostly due to lack of infrastructure, poor speed, or prohibitive pricing. RightMesh’s parent company, LeftTM, directly experienced these connectivity issues many years ago while managing work between its offices in Vancouver and Bangladesh.
“Our team members in Bangladesh all had to stop working online whenever we had a video call between offices, because the network could barely handle the data of the call.” said CEO John Lyotier. “It was terrible for productivity, and frustrating, but it made us realize that so many more people in the world have worse to no connectivity.”
“Our experience led us to see a huge opportunity to harness technology for good and to increase global access to the communication, storage, and exchange services many of us take for granted,” continued Lyotier.
Their own lack of reliable connectivity spurred the company to develop the concept of RightMesh, and for the past two years, Left has financially supported RightMesh in developing its mesh networking protocol and building a platform which incorporates ethereum blockchain technology. Now, RightMesh is preparing for a Q1 2018 Token Generation Launch.
Continuing on its global tour to entrench itself in the world of blockchain, in November and December RightMesh will be attending Consensus Invest in New York City, the Global Entrepreneur Summit in Hyderbaad, India, BlockShow Asia in Singapore, and the Latin America Bitcoin & Blockchain Conference in Bogota, Columbia.
Additionally, the team is scaling up to meet the growth demands and is recruiting blockchain and mesh experts from around the world.

RightMeshTM, incubated by parent company LeftTM, is a distributed network and platform that incentivizes individuals to share excess Internet capacity and device resources to those who lack access, thereby increasing global connectivity and facilitating international communication and commerce. The RightMesh wireless network is self-forming, self-healing, and self-regulating, using various technologies in smart devices rather than relying on traditional infrastructure. RightMesh’s networking technology is already used in a content-sharing and local messaging app called YO!, which has received over 1 million installs and is actively used in emerging markets. RightMesh aims to connect the next 1 billion people with the power of blockchain and mesh technology combined.
