Nelson Rivera, founder of the Rivera Agency in Port Washington, NY, is announcing the commencement of a regional charity effort to support Logan Nehmadi, a kindergartner attending Manorhaven Elementary who is currently battling leukemia.

“Little Logan reminds us every day of how lucky we are to have our lives full of such caring, sweet, children. It is a true tragedy that he was diagnosed with this disease at such a young age. As a parent myself, I want nothing more than for Logan to be safely back at home and in school,” said Rivera.

In an effort to foster community engagement during the charity campaign, the Nelson team is using a referral program to provide the Nehmadi family with assistance. For each friend or family member referred to the firm for a no-obligation insurance quote, the Rivera Agency will provide a donation to help cover Logan’s medical expenses.
