Alexander’s Restaurant and Wine Bar Open for Holidays with Special Offerings
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (PRWEB) November 19, 2017 -- Longtime island favorite Alexander’s Restaurant and Wine Bar will be open for Thanksgiving and also showcase its fall menu this holiday season.
Located at 76 Queen’s Folly Road on the main entry road to Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, Alexander’s has been a popular choice of the Hilton Head Island dining scene since 1977.
Alexander’s hosts a Prix-Fixe Thanksgiving meal on November 23 from 11am–8pm featuring Lowcountry lobster bisque, apple cider and sage roasted turkey breast, blackened salmon and desserts such as pumpkin cheesecake and more. Reservations are recommended and costs are $55 per adult and $25 per child plus tax and gratuity. Call 843-785-4999 any time after Noon or visit http://www.AlexandersRestaurant.com to make your reservation by November 21.
An upscale seafood restaurant, Alexander’s reopened in Spring 2017 to great fanfare with a new look and a new menu, featuring seasonally inspired cuisine, locally caught seafood and many locally sourced ingredients.
The menu pays tribute to many classic Alexander’s favorites such as stuffed flounder, shrimp and grits, and Wiener schnitzel, while the new décor in the restaurant’s lagoon-front setting offers more of a Lowcountry appeal.
Alexander’s is open for early dining and dinner, seven nights a week. The restaurant is headed by resort Director of Food and Beverage and certified Sommelier, Brian Couey, previously of Pinehurst Resort and the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C., along with resort Executive Chef Don Reinheardt, who has 20 years of experience with Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
As for other Thanksgiving options at Palmetto Dunes, the annual Thanksgiving Day Buffet at the Palmetto Dunes Club located across from the Fazio Golf Course takes place from 11am–4pm. Featuring a delicious buffet with all your turkey day favorites plus a variety of other items, take the hassle out of Thanksgiving by booking your reservation today by calling 843-686-9143. Reservations must be made in advance as seating and times are limited.
