Author Fred R. Kuester’s Newly Released “Adam and Eve for Atheists” is a Collection of Thirteen Everyday Miracles that Cannot be Explained Away
(PRWEB) November 23, 2017 -- “Adam and Eve for Atheists” is the creation of published author, Fred R. Kuester, a retired forester and high school teacher. Kuester attended Michigan State University, Auburn University, and Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. Originally from Milwaukee, he and his wife, Lena, share a peaceful home in North Idaho.
“I was raised in the suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin during the Great Depression. There was nothing great about it. I learned to hate at an early age. One of my early childhood memories was of the war in Europe. Why do these people hate each other? War meant guns and bombs. People killing each other. One breakfast morning, Dad opened the Milwaukee Sentinel Newspaper and announced that we were at war. The carnage continued for four years and to this day. I am aware that nations must deploy a powerful military and that war cannot always be avoided, but I hate it. This has shaped my empathy for all suffering people. Everyone has a face.” --Fred R. Kuester
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Fred R. Kuester’s new book makes the case for tolerance of those with varying spiritual views.
Fred shares, “The life of Adam and Eve is summarized in four pages of the Hebrew Bible. It is the focus for the story of how the world began. For Jews, Christians, and Muslims, it is a story of how God created mankind. For atheists, it is just a story. At best, it is a true story about two naked people prancing around in a garden paradise. The value of the story, however, resides in the message it is trying to convey.”
The thirteen God stories contained in “Adam and Eve for Atheists” offer examples of miracles that have happened in everyday lives. These are miracles that can be recognized by anyone who is willing to slow down and look for them. None of these stories are of miraculous healings or other events that can be challenged as natural happenings. Some have a hilarious twist. All of them indicate the handiwork of a mysterious force, God. None of them prove anything, but together they reveal a mysterious force at work.
