Deborah was born and raised in Brooklyn. She currently lives in New York with her husband of twenty-two years.
“My early childhood years were spent playing on the block in early morning till around noon when without a bell or a yell I’d go up to my apartment for lunch. Later, it was back downstairs for more outside play of jump rope, hide-and-go-seek, dodge ball, hot peas and butter, and other games.
